Tomlinsons Chemists is owned by pharmacists Ian and Anne Fleming who acquired the Pharmacy in 2000, having already been involved in the business for some time - Ian started as a Saturday assistant in 1976.
Not as far back as 1855 though, when Charles Bradbury is listed as Pharmacist of 11 Market Square. The Pharmacy is one of the only continuing businesses in Lytham from this time, along with four hotels and inns.
In 1924 Thomas McNeil Tomlinson bought the Chemists, and we have remained 'Tomlinsons' since then.
So here we are a 19th century Pharmacy providing 21st century services, either via our website sales, or in the Pharmacy. - Regular customers who would like more information about their medicines can ask for a Medicines Use Review. This is an NHS service designed to help you understand about your medicines, and the best timing for taking them.
We have a private consultation for this service, which we also use for other consultations, dispensing of surgical stockings and appliances, measuring and fitting of sports injury supports, and NHS accredited emergency contraception service.
